Lara's father Richard Blume- In 2009 was diagnosed with ALS. A disease with a life span of two to five years. The disease leaves the patient paralyzed, with the mind staying alert. Richard Blume is a fighter often telling people " Why me? Why Not?" Lara has established and consulted many non-profits as the head of her company Team Up World; this project is personal and her lifes work. ALS has become her platform, her focus and she is on a mission to bring awareness and hope to patients.
