2020 ALSIW granted over $50,000 in services to those living with ALS.
2021 ALSIW granted over $60,000 in services to those living with ALS

Since Inception, in 2013 ALSIW has served 150 persons living with ALS in the state of Arkansas.

Our Mission
ALS In Wonderland creates awareness and provides funding directly for the benefit of PALS in the state of Arkansas
ALS In Wonderland was created and inspired by the needs and necessities that many PALS face today. We are here to help each ALS family while they are dealing with the biggest challenge of their life. Founder Lara Blume McGee knows first hand the effects that ALS has on families - Lara's Father Richard Blume was diagnosed with ALS In late 2009.
ALS In Wonderland is here to assist ALS families with financial needs that arise. We also act as a reliable advocate for our PALS. Currently we are serving PALS in the state of Arkansas. Lara believes that her work is not only wanted, but imperative for the ALS community. A cause close to her heart she is fierce in her work; Dedicated to leading her passionate board members.

HOW WE HELP
CURRENT OPERATING PROGRAMS & SERVICES
PALS Monthly Gifting Program: Launched April 2, 2014 ALS In Wonderland Foundation offers a financial gifting program for ALS patients in the state of Arkansas. Financial gifts are sent directly to PALS monthly.
Equipment Studio: We procure and maintain equipment for PALS that they may need. PALS and family are able to come shop in the equipment studio. The loft is managed by Dianne Bauer wife of PALS Rickie Bauer. The Studio is located in West Little Rock on Cantrell Rd.
Hotel Accommodations in Little Rock, Arkansas: We provide hotel stays for those traveling into town for the UAMS MDA Clinic.
PALS Transportation: We offer our wheelchair van service to deliver the highest level of care and customer service. Our clean and spacious vehicle provide independence to the people we serve. This service is currently only available in Central Arkansas and appointments must be made two weeks in advance.
ALS In Wonderland Advocacy Program: We provide assistance to PALS by helping them locate & find outside services that are offered. ALS In Wonderland has developed alliances with other networks and non-profits to meet the needs our PALS.
Crowd Fundraising Campaigns: Personal fund-raising for expenses that are restricted to individual PALS: We raise funds specifically dedicated to the PALS current needs.
ALS Support Gathering: We offer a compassionate and loving support gathering monthly for the benefit of our PALS. ( Currently Discontinued due to COVID-19)
ALS In Wonderland Holiday Gifting: ALS In Wonderland provides every ALSIW registered PALS a holiday gift check, gifts, and JOY!
